Bio

William “Bill” Robbinson is a native of Orlando and has served in a number of executive and professional roles throughout his professional career.  Mr. Robbinson concentrates his law practice on representing businesses and non-profit entities in corporate and general business work, including business transactions, sales and acquisitions, contract formation and negotiation, regulatory and licensing support, policy review and development, labor and employment law, supervisor training, and employee claims investigation and defense,  including wage & hour, age discrimination and EEOC claims.

Prior to joining Zimmerman Kiser Sutcliffe, Bill served in both executive and noted professional capacities, including service as the President and CEO of one of Florida’s leading legal professional liability providers. Bill also served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for CoAdvantage Holdings, Inc., a national employment services and technology company, overseeing all corporate, legal, HR and regulatory areas for the company and its operating subsidiaries, including complex multi-state regulatory compliance, acquisitions and divestitures, capital transactions, intellectual property, key vendor relationships and conflict resolution.  Mr. Robbinson also has represented clients in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies such as the EEOC and the Department of Labor.

Bill has received an “AV” rating, the highest rating for practice skills and professional conduct from Martindale-Hubbell, the industry standard for peer review and recognition.  He previously served as a certified Circuit Court Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court, and is a frequent speaker, trainer and contributing author for numerous organizations, publications and seminars.

In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Robbinson has served as counsel, adviser and/or board member for numerous charitable and community organizations, including Lifework Leadership, The Coalition for the Homeless, United Against Poverty, Frontline Outreach, First Presbyterian Church of Orlando, Grace Church Orlando, The Edgewater Foundation, Conductive Education Center of Orlando, The Victory Cup Initiative and The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce.
