Shareholder Sarah Pape honored as part of Habitat for Humanity 25 Women Strong Project
Habitat for Humanity of Seminole – Apopka is celebrating their 25 year anniversary by inviting a select group of 25 women, who exemplify leadership through community involvement, to join 25 Women Strong. This network of women will create a foundation for the 2016 Women Build Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program is an international effort to build homes that are funded and constructed by women. Women Build empowers women to take leadership roles in construction and learn new skills while building homes together with our hardworking partner families.
Shareholder Sarah Pape has been honored by being selected into this network. Along with the 24 other honorees, Sarah will help bring Magnolia-Place Townhomes to life by helping to raise the funds necessary for the construction project. When the 2016 Women Build is complete, Magnolia-Place Townhomes, which is located in Longwood, will have 10 new townhomes. Each unit will be 3 bedrooms/2.5 bath, energy efficient and within walking distance of the SunRail Station.
Earlier this month, Sarah was excited to meet her partner family, a family of six, with two boys and two girls. Sarah shares a personnel connection with the family, having a child the same age as their youngest. Sarah and her Women Build partner Nan are pictured below with their partner family.
