Bio

Kevin Malchow practices in all aspects of Florida workers’ compensation law, at both the trial and appellate levels throughout the State of Florida.  Kevin advises employers and insurance carriers with regard to subrogation matters, accident investigations, risk management, premium disputes, coverage disputes and other workers’ compensation related matters. His area of concentration is in defending both self-insured employers and their servicing agents, as well as insurance companies. Kevin also has significant experience in defending employers in the trucking/transportation industry, agricultural, retail and service industries, and government/public sector entities. Kevin is a Florida Department of Insurance Certified Instructor and is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

In 2003, Kevin served his country with the 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command for six months while deployed during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Middle East. Kevin again deployed to the Middle East in 2010 and served for a year with the 53rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. Mr. Malchow retired as a Colonel in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corp. after 30 years of service to the United States Army and the country.
